Light Rail Transit (LRT) phase 1 infrastructure construction for Kelapa Gading-Velodrome Rawamangun is one of Asian Games support facilities and now its process reaches 37 percent.

Until now, 660 girder boxes and 40 spans have been installed

PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Secretary, Erry Gunari Prakasa said LRT phase 1 route has 5.8 kilometers long.

"Until now, 660 girder boxes and 40 spans have been installed. Budget absorption reaches Rp 1.3 trillion or 20 percent from total budget Rp 6.8 trillion," he said, Wednesday (10/11).

He explained, LRT Phase 1 will pass through six stations; Depo Pegangsaan Dua Station, station in front of Kelapa Gading Mal, Station on Jl. Boulevard Raya Kelapa Gading, station on Jl. Kayu Putih Raya (Pulomas), station on Jl. Kayu Putih Raya (Equestrian), and station infront of Rawamangun Velodrome Sport Center.

"We plan to install 5.8 kilometers rail by the end of this year," he expressed.

He added, PT. Jakpro has prepared 16 train cars to be shipped in April 2018 for LRT operational.

"We estimate 13 thousand passengers will use this mass transportation service in a day," he closed.
